When we were kids in the 1990's we'd make mix tapes with blank cassettes and record songs off the radio. We had to be very fast at recognizing the intro to our favorite songs to start recording in time and catch as much music as possible. Then we'd copy songs over to other tapes into full playlists, pop them out of the recorder to be labeled with a ball point pen. If you taped over the wrong cassette hard work was gone forever. 

Moments when we discover a new book, a new art work, or new music, we feel like a little kid all over again, standing in front of a big new experience ready to be explored.
